ENGELEC Energy horizontal axis wind turbine L type (1KW-3KW) and G type (3KW-20KW) have two different types of blades connection: one is by flange blades and another is by flat blades.

In this article, we will introduce you the differences and the features.

    1.       Flange adopts dowel pin to connect the blades flange and wind turbine flange. More accurate and make the concentricity higher during the blades rotating. It fixed the deficiency of bolt connection

2.       Perfect mechanical property design:

Flange blades base is thicker, stronger, and better mechanical property. Flat blades are more likely broken to the flange blades.

3.       Inside structure:

The flange blades bottom inner structure is fixed by bolts and in a whole set. Make the whole parts stronger and looks nicer. Totally cannot see the bolts from outside.

4.       Performance comparison

The below photo is flat blade:

A: Back-plate is thin that not strong enough, poor mechanical property.

B: Connected by bolts, no dowel pin that can not control the mounting error.
