The double outlet water turbine generator unit is composed of a double outlet water turbine and a generator through a coupling. The water turbine mainly consists of a volute, a double outlet runner, a main shaft, a seal, a suspension, bearings, etc.
During operation, under the action of the working head, the water flows through the water intake pipe to the inlet of the water turbine and enters the volute to impact the rotation of the runner. The main shaft drives the generator to work.
The double outlet water turbine generator unit is a horizontal structure with the following technical advantages:
1. The installation of the double outlet turbine generator do not have to change the flow direction of the pipeline, which is more convenient to install use and maintain.
2. The water turbine and generator are separated, which is more easy to maintain and reliable.
3. The water turbine has 2 separate bearings, and the generator has 2 separate bearings, making the structure more reliable.
4. The water turbine has an independent oil lubrication system, resulting in longer bearing life.
5. The dual outlet structure automatically balances axial force, with reliable structure, long bearing life, and stable operation;
6. The runner has been optimized by Computational fluid dynamics software (CFD) with high efficiency.
